HOMECOMING - WEEK 10 (B1G Week)Arizona @ RutgersThe music is cued up, and the lights are flashing - that means it's time for the annual QB carousel to turn again at Piscataway.
QB Cash Cannon is back on the horsey for at least 1 more game, after a huge game @ Iowa last week. The Big 10 (featuring all 4 teams in Homecoming's this week) is ultra-competitive this season and Rutgers can't afford to give Arizona it's first win of the season right now. The Wildcats will give the ball to their True Freshman and the #1 defense is licking it's chops; this one could be over by half-time.
Prediction: Scarlet Knights by 12 (MFN Rutgers -6)Iowa @ (9) Ohio StateThe Buckeyes have been consistently good in all 3 phases of the game over the past few seasons, having given the top teams all they can handle from week to week. Swiss Army Knife
WR/RB Curtis Samuel leads the team in total touchdowns, as well as providing an injection of raw lightening in the running game to. The Buckeyes will need to take care of business against the cellar-dweller this week in order to keep pace with the Wolverines, but these in-Conference games are always a dog-fight.
Prediction: Buckeyes by 2 (MFN OSU -7)Washington State @ WashingtonIt's Apple Cup time in the Emerald City! Washington has been inexplicably listless this season, after 5-straight Conference championships. They have just decided to move on from their Senior QB Ronald Tiffany, and will rely even more heavily on star
RB Myles Gaskin. It seems their chemistry has been off this season - evidenced by Gaskin's 6 drops, and many of the other receivers have been fighting hospital passes for weeks. It's time for the youth movement to begin for Washington, but as far as the fans & boosters are concerned, this is the ONE game every season that the Huskies will be expected to win.
Prediction: Cougars by 5 (MFN WASH -4)Army @ MichiganPrediction: Wolverines by 6 (MFN MICH -13)
