(8) LSU Tigers vs Miami Hurricanes
The Hurricane defense is having a notable season, notable in a bad way. They are at, or near the bottom of every major defensive category, which explains their league worst 39.4pts allowed per game. Making matters worse, QB Paul Johnson is having a down year as he struggles to deal with the new league-mandated rule enforcement. They will host an LSU team that is dealing with a laundry list of nagging injuries and may be ripe for an upset given last weeks surprise blow-out loss to Alabama in Wesley Terry’s return to Tuscaloosa.
Prediction: Tigers by 12 (MFN LSU -5)

(2) Syracuse Orange vs Army Black Knights
Battle of the Empire State (Vol 2) runs this weekend, the first time these 2 teams have met since 2019 - a 47-20 win for the Orange. This years edition has 2 teams in very different positions: Syracuse sits atop the ACC and has been flirting with the #1 national ranking for much of the year, Army on the other hand is trying to work their way back into the Bowl picture after starting the season 2-4. TE Sean Eckert has been on fire this season, developing instant chemistry with new QB Slack, as he sports a career-best receiving percentage & yards/catch average, as well as needing just 4TDs in the final 5 games to tie his career high. We’re calling the Upset Special this week!

GG Navy, quite the back and forth battle but in the end your team won because my defense failed to show up for this one. The couple games our LDE Alley missed has visibly been evident. I may have no choice but to play him hurt. Our defense is allowing too many points. Changes to the defensive scheme and plays will have to be made soon or else we won't make it past the first bowl game again. Also, Heater threw 4 INTs. That's unacceptable to this ownership. I didn't want to put Antone in this early in his career but he will get his first start next game vs. UCLA. Richard Heater is just like Ryan Fitzpatrick... He starts out with so much hope and promise. Puts up great stats but then after a few games he falls to Earth and his stats go down the tubes.lol
