Game 10 - Clemson Tigers 31 Ole Miss Rebels 19
Season record - 8-2

Clemson opened up a 28-6 lead in the 2nd quarter, then watched a Rebel charge with 13 unanswered points to make the score 28-19. The Tigers would add a FG for the final score. It was a big win as everyone in the ACC won in week 10. Clemson still holds a 2 game lead over the division.

The game ball goes to MLB- Fred Cipriani who moved from the SLB spot for this game. Cipriani came up with 10 tackles and a sack.

Clemson will travel to Arkansas to face the 4-6 Razorbacks for game 11. The Tigers are 7 point favorites in the game.

Game 11 - Clemson 40 Arkansas 14
Season record - 9-2

Clemson and Arkansas faced off in game 11 of the season. Clemson came away with the victory to move to 9-2 on the season.

The game was close in the 1st half. The Razorbacks game plan was based on the pass and they did this on every offensive play, but 1. It seemed eerily familiar to the Tigers game 7 opponent, Florida State, in which the Seminoles came out with a 38-21 victory. But, the Tigers played much better than they did in that week 7 contest. A few big plays via the hot read for Arkansas, but the constant pressure from the Tigers was too much for the Razorbacks.

QB - Neil Obrien returned to the starting role and finished: 20/36, 403yds, 4TD's, 2INT's, for a QB rating of 108.9.

LDE - Christopher Ramirez had: 6 tackles, 5 sacks, and many, many pressures.

The Tigers will be home next game to take on the Kansas Jayhawks (5-6). Clemson is an 11 point favorite, but I have a feeling it will be a close battle.

Game 12 - Kansas 27 Clemson 36
Season record - 10-2

The Kansas Jayhawks came to visit the lovely state of South Carolina, for their game 12 match and was able to match Clemson's high power offense, but the old fumble proved to be the Jayhawks downfall. 3 lost fumbles and 1 INT, was enough to boost Clemson to a 9 point victory, 36-27.

With the victory, Clemson moves to 10-2 and may get a sniff of the top 5 in the next coaches poll.

RB - Dennis Dunford put together a nice game, rushing for: 144yds, on 10 carries.

Clemson returns to ACC play in game 13, with a match against Syracuse. The Tigers defeated the Orange in game 6, 33-17. A Clemson win would put an end to any Orange hopes of winning the division...Clemson knows that the Orange and supersloth will be ready for this game.

Game 13 - Clemson 35 Syracuse 44
Season record - 10-3

This one got away from Clemson early, as Syracuse used a nice 66yd run (and all of his 8 break tackle) by RB- John Cagle and kick return for a TD by Michael Millar to open up a big lead. The Tigers were in a big hole at the half, trailing 35-17. Although Clemson tried desperately to make a comeback, they just couldn't get it done. The difference in this game...red zone visits...Syracuse 4 times/3TD's. Clemson 3 times/3FG's.

Up next for Clemson, another division game against the Miami Hurricanes. If Miami wins this one, it would make everyone in the ACC 3-3 in division games and really tighten things up in the ACC.

A shout out to Bryson for his preseason prediction that the ACC is the most balanced division in NCAA.

LOL! Well, yes, but the picture doesn't include the other 3 guys that "missed" tackling him!

Game 14 - Miami 14 Clemson 48
Season record - 11-3

The result was not expected. A lopsided win for Clemson 48-14 over the Hurricanes from Miami. These 2 teams met in week 1, which was an epic game...this one, not so much. Clemson used a balanced attack, led by RB- Dennis Dunford, who had a great game: 18 carries, 185yds, 1 TD. Dunford also caught 3 passes for 18yds. The Tigers also used 5 turnovers by the Hurricanes and converted them into points.

The Tiger win clinches the tough ACC division for Clemson and with 2 games left, they now look to grab the #2 seed in the Super Conference.

Game 15 sees the Tigers travelling close by, to tussle with the Georgia Bulldogs (6-8). Clemson, then will finish at home against a 0-14 Stanford team hungry for a win.

Game 15 - Clemson 17 Georgia 19
Season record - 11-4

Clemson lost on a last second FG to Georgia 19-17. This was a game marred by turnovers by both teams.

Clemson - had 5 INT's by usually reliable QB - Neil Obrien and the Tigers lost 2 fumbles.
Georgia - had 4 INT's by their 2 QB's.

Clemson will face Stanford (0-15) in the regular season finale.

Game 16 - Stanford 38 Clemson 59
Season record - 12-4

Clemson finished the regular season against the 0-15 Stanford team that sure didn't play like a 0-15 team. What looked to be a blowout early, turned into a close game at the half...

Up 17-0 in the 2nd quarter, the Tigers kicked off to Stanford KR-Ivan Thibodaux. He returned the kick for a TD. Not to be outdone, Clemson KR-Dennis Dunford returned the ensuing kickoff for a TD. Not to be outdone...again...Thibodaux returned the next kickoff for a TD. The score was 24-14 at that point.

Clemson scored a TD 1 minute later and Thibadaux did it again! His 3rd KR for a TD. The halftime score was 31-30 Clemson.

The Tigers got two 3rd quarter TD's to pad the lead and was too much for Stanford to overcome.

Clemson will receive a bye in the first round of bowl games.

Good luck to all the teams that made the playoffs.

SUGAR BOWL - Oklahoma St. 48 Clemson 54 (OT)

You know the old saying, "I'd rather be lucky than good?" Well that is how the Clemson Tigers feel after finishing a come from behind win over the Cowboys, in overtime.

Clemson benefited from 7 INT's by OKST QB - Randy Williams...he also had 5 TD passes...Clemson also benefited from 2 KR TD's by RB-Dennis Dunford.

LOTS of offense by both teams...OKST - 649yds Clemson - 527yds.

Clemson has one more game to go to get to the national championship game. To do so, they will have to get by the powerful Tennessee Volunteers. The Vols are a 12 point favorite in the Orange Bowl.
