Game 8, half way, KU had Florida in the house, they played well hard nose defense and we
were lucky when backups put the ball on the ground! Gators had the ball in good field position
and needed a field goal to tie! KU held them on downs and are happy to be 4-4, thinking we
thought we could muster 6 wins this year! That could be a dream with Tennessee coming next
and then 5 of are last 7 are on the road! Hey RB Marek was back and had a good game 13
rushes for 113 yds 2 TD's, QB Maillet was 16 of 27 313 yds 2 TD's 1 INT, WR Gayden had 9
catches for 123 yds

Game 9, The power house Tennessee was at Kansas and the coaches worried all week about
slowing them down! The final score dos'nt show what a good job the coaches did, it was a
7-7 game at half! At the end of the 3rd KU was down a TD and had missed 3 field goals! We
are very happy with the way our kids played knowing they will only get better! Game ***** to
WR's Gagnon 7 for 149 and a TD, Gayden 10 for 116, QB Maillet played well but the young
offense line could not keep him off the ground!

Left out game 10, well it was one to forget! Went into stillwater and got beat up, the team played
ok just not up to Cowboy standerds! It was like we were in 3rd and long all the time, they scored
early right from kickoff! We kind of held them in check in the second half, but we could'nt do
anything at all! RB injured in the game along with LDE and TE, banged up and on the road next
week as well!

Game 11, We have Georgia on our mind, here in the south taking on the Bulldogs, another great
team! This was one of those defensive fights and we were playing with backups agin! Our kicker
has missed way to many field goals this year, he scares **** out of us whenever we line up for
one! He made the one that counted, I think the ball had some Jayhawk feathers on it and guided
it! DT Thomas was a monster with 5 tackles 4 sacks 32, I say 32 hurries! We take our hats off to
the 3 rookies that had to play and did a great job! RB Robbins only 22 rushing yds, 2 catches
for 9 yds, but picked up a few 1st downs that were needed! LDE Sharp, TE Rutledge did themselfs proud! Road wins are sweet for a team!

Game 12, found KU on the road to play #7 Clemson, they are very good! We started the 4th
tied 27-27, turnovers killed a chance for another road win! RB Marek fumbled another, this
guy has 90 avoid fumble! We had to play a LB at LDE, that hurt us some, do what needs to be
done in order to play! DT Thomas 6 tackles 4 sacks with 13 more hurries, this man is having
a great season! Look at rookie TE Rutledge 4 catches 117 yds 1TD! We also moved rookie RG
Ham into start for this game and he played well! The team is looking good!

Game 13, another road game this time at Texas and the longhorns made us look bad! We played
without #1 pick in the secondary and it showed! We will see them once more in a few weeks,
hope we are healthy!
