Army secured their 1st Double-Digit-Win season since 2018. Who is left on the Army roster since that fateful year?

WR-Glen Coates - #24 Pick in the 2nd Round, Allocation Draft
WR-Sean Eckert - 19th Signing in the 1st Day, 2018
DE-John Voit - #24 Pick in the 20th Round, Allocation Draft
DB-King Drake - 18th Signing in the 2nd Day, 2018
DB-Marcus Hyatt - #9 Pick in the 1st Round, Allocation Draft

Will their reward be a bowl game? Coates, Hyatt and Eckert were all slated to leave the Academy during the off-season last summer. In fact, it had been announced that they were leaving. Sources say that the A.D. had a long meeting with all of the Army seniors and it was players like John Voit, James Nachtigal and Doug Bradford who convinced them to stay.

Nachtigal and Hyatt are Roomates and Best Friends

Army puts it on the line tomorrow night when the Cardinal come to Michie Stadium. The Knights have Stanford and Notre Dame at home to close out the regular season.

The Irish trail Army by just one game with two to play and will be in Provo, taking on BYU in week 15.

An Army win coupled with a Notre Dame loss would give the Black Knights their first post season berth in 9 seasons.

If Army loses, it would likely be a week 16 "Playoff Game" at Michie with the Irish.

The Knights do still have an outside chance of nabbing their first-ever Indy Conference title, if they win-out and BYU loses-out to finish the season.

I would love nothing more than to see a Winner-Take-All week 16 game between Army & Notre Dame.
Man the fireworks that game would have!
Congrats on a great season so far, time to white-knuckle to the finish now for all of us!

ARMY HEADS TO TRAINING CAMP CARRYING SOME OPTIMISM FOR A CHANGE

Arthur Salter, fresh off of being named Coach of the Year by his peers is striding into training camp with optimism and hope for another good year at West Point. "Not too much is changing with what we had last year.", said Salter in a quick conversation before drills. "We snagged a couple of promising new recruits along with some depth acquisitions on senior transfers." "The biggest change will be Robert [Brookins] moving out wide...other than that, it's back to business as usual!"

The move at RB will be where the spotlight shines early this season. The Knight's signed Freshman hybrid WR/RB Joe Lavergne, 6'1" out of Indiana. He will likely slot right in front of 2nd year freshman Joe Medley, who is another WR/RB hybrid. The two backs will definitely have big shoes to fill. Brookins is coming off of a career year for Army in all purpose yards, 237 carries for 1,022yds-4TD's and 54 catches for 755yds and 5TD's.

Here is a look at the team's starting/depth roster, heading into the 2028 season:

QB Rocky Rothrock, Robert Heater
RB's Joe Lavergne and Joe Medley
WR's Daniel Huff, Robert Brookins, Charles Shackleford*
TE's Irv Smith Jr., David Johnston
OL's Coppola, Baudoux, Robinson, Dillard, Brinker

LDE Roy Rogers*, Jachai Polite
DT Kenneth Hatchett, Cecil Greene
RDE David Bernhard, LDE Sergio Hackett
LB's Kwabena Bonsu, James Nachtigal, Sonny Sinclair, Tanker Bryant
Safety Keith Morgan, Ray Shuman
Corner Daniel Burns, Bradley Lawrence

K Sebastian Janikowski*
P Russell Thrasher

Huh 10-13, I would not have guessed it was that close. I must have won a fair number of those recently!
