TRANSFER DAY ONE:
It was a busy day in the front office for the Army Black Knights. Most of the action took place in the leadership of the team, however - as A.D. Bryno made moves to fill the vacancy at Head Coach, after the unexpected departure/retirement of Lorenzo Brown. Bryno went to the West coast to fill the vacancy, bringing in the well traveled Michael Houston. Houston takes charge of the Black Knights after visiting/working for 3 other NCAA teams. Those teams were Florida St. and Ohio St. who both fired Houston. The coach then had signed on last season with UCLA before being courted and hired by Army.

PLAYER MOVES
The Black Knights filled a vacant spot on their roster on Tuesday, signing Stephen Richart. Richart has been the blocking back for Kansas for the last 5 seasons. The 6' 0", 243lb True-Junior has allowed only 1 sack in the past three seasons for the Jayhawks and has been effective as their lead blocker. Richart will fill the FB role right away.
