2023 FRESHMAN CLASS - NEWBIES

Day 1 - 1st Signing - OL - Aaron Baudoux - Prior to West Point: Played offensive line for Pendleton Heights … also lettered in wrestling and basketball.

Day 2 - 2nd Signing - DL - Nolan Cockrill - Prior to West Point: Three year starter with two All State nominations … three time 6A Virginia State Football Champion … All Met team selection.

Day 3 - 3rd Signing - LB - Kwabena Bonsu - Prior to West Point: Four year starter for South Cobb … named Defensive Player of the Year … nominated to All County and All State teams … led Cobb County in sacks for two seasons … also lettered in lacrosse and track … finalist in Track and Field sectionals … member of the Flying Aces club and National Honor Society.

Day 4 - 4th Signing - TE - Chris Cameron - Prior to West Point: First team All District and All State tight end for Catholic High School … played on the USMAPS football team.

Day 5 - 5th Signing - P - Zach Harding - Prior to West Point: Selected to All Conference and All District teams his senior year … named 2017 Special Teams Player of the Year … also lettered in basketball and volleyball … two time academic All State selection … graduated with honors.

In a short press conference following the Zach Harding signing, Head Coach Mike Houston shared that the Punter would be the final freshman signing during the designated signing window. "We just don't see bringing any other recruits." When asked if the team would be looking to sign any during the extension window prior to training camp. "We'll have to see who's out there, we're not going to rule it out, for sure." "We still have some needs, so we hope!"

Vigue calls it a career! After 6 seasons, Senior TE Ricky Vigue is hanging up his cleats. "I just don't have the burst any more." "It's time to open it up for these younger guys to do great things here at The Point!" Vigue leaves, having come just-short of 3,000 career yards, 20 TD's and a 66.8 reception percentage.
