Big Home opener for our beloved Wolverines winning late in a tightly contested game. The wolves sloppily turned the ball over 4 times but intercepted Utes qb twice in return with a big one by 2023 #1 overall draft pick Charles Woodson https://ncaa-football.myfootballnow.com/watch/1948#367785

Game 2 Summary. Another victory another week for the underdog Wolverines! who looked to build on game 1's dismall turnover ratio. This game the wolves turned around their fortunes around in the turnover department to 0 turnovers and intercepted highly touted Bulldog quarterback Nicholas Smitherman 4 times. While UM Qb Eric Nolan did an efficient job especially late in the 4th quarter to earn the victory. The wolves rb core gained over 100 yards combined which is a sign of good things to come for the running game going forward. The bulldogs rb Robert Wyatt was unstoppable but in the end it wasn't enough.

Charles Woodson once again had an interception https://ncaa-football.myfootballnow.com/watch/1961#370232 and 3 tackles which is a good indication that UM was correct in drafting him #1 overall

Game 3: The Wolverines were on the road for the first time this season in a tough match up against the USC Trojans. It was a shootout from the very beginning with a combined 13 passing touchdowns and 1073 combined passing yards. UM QB Eric Nolan had a career game with 10 passing tds and 581 yards in the air. The ball was spread around to 9 receivers with Donald Derossett having the biggest day with 269 yds and 4 tds. The defense didn't have its best day but a win is a win. The wolves did have a punt block this game which was a site to see https://ncaa-football.myfootballnow.com/watch/1976#373248.

The Underdog Wolverines will next face the Rutgers Scarlett Knights as a 2 td underdog. When asked about the huge underdog status in each game and whether it feels like a slap in the face because of the success this year, coach and owner slipperyslope simply said "That stuff don't matter much to us as we take one game at a time. But we will use it as a motivational tool for the players. We will continue to prep for each opponent and hit them with everything we got".

Winovich says he is ready for Rutgers!!

Game 4: It was a game where the Wolves had little in the way of offense as the Scarlett Knights shut down the run game and held the wolves to 6 first downs. Michigan was however in the game till the last drive as they lost in heartbreaking fashion. The run game netted 18 yards on 10 carries. That just is not going to get it done in the big 10. In the last 2 games the wolves stud defense gave up 69 points!! When asked to comment on the current trend coach slipperyslope went on a tirade, "I drafted these guys and they need to make plays! both offensively! and defensively! I expect more from that defense and they are disgracing the uniform!! Winovich came up small!!! And don't even get me started on the offense as they are just plain inefficient! I will also take some of the blame for my the ineffective game plan, but the players have to execute! Now get out of my face I got work to do!!

On a brighter note Rookie Charles Woodson came up with another great play that was the highlight of the game for the wolves https://ncaa-football.myfootballnow.com/watch/1995#376912

Game 5: The Wolverines got back on track with the win against the Hawkeyes in a tough big ten matchup. Both teams went to the air and often combining for 676 yards and 3 touchdowns. David Terrell took the start at rb and led the wolves with 10 carries for 95 yards and a td but was injured and will be out for at least a month with a leg injury. Coach slipperyslope was pleased with the defensive effort and hopes to continue building on this performance against the Tennessee Volunteers. The Wolves had 3 sacks including one by star defensive end Chase Winovich.

Rookie sensation Charles Woodson again put his fingerprints on the game with a force fumble that the Wolves John Ingall recovered.https://ncaa-football.myfootballnow.com/watch/2008#379414

DEFENSE!! ...WOLVERINES!! CHASE WINOVICH!! 3 Sacks 6 tackles and countless pressures

Week 7: After a tough loss to Tennessee, this reporter was so upset that we took the week off. But Michigan came up with a similar crushing victory in ANN ARBOR defeating Kansas in a dramatic 4th quarter comeback. Forever the underdog, Michigan has a big chip on its shoulder and promises to fight for every victory.

Kentucky was picked off 3 times, one by freshman CHARLES WOODSON!

Week 11: Ohio made the most of a flury of interceptions and a fumble by Eric Nolan. This outcome makes this reporter rethink whether this team is for real or not. If the qb can't avoid the turnovers then this promising campaign may lead our beloved Wolverines out of a bowl game :(
