Back-ups

Question:
Instead of using my second string RB, when I pulled my starters the engine decided to put my starting FB in at HB. Do I have settings messed up or?

Maybe ur backup rb was being used at another position? Or fatigue?

Thought it might be rules too, but that wasn't it. Could be fatigue I guess, will have to try some different things and see what happens in game 2.

our players have very little conditioning so it will sub guys pretty quick. You only have two rb's on your team so it's going to go to the fb pretty often since he's fresh more frequently than the back who's on the field on passing plays as well. This is one of the reasons i prefer at least 3 RB's and most of the time i carry 4. :)

Great insight, thanks!

So if I add some WRs on to the RB depth chart they should be subbed in ahead of the FB, correct? Or do they need to be of the RB position group specifically?

what is the setting you have for subbing your rb's? Do you have your back up rb on special teams? Did you call very many passes before the fb was subbed in? It could many variables so it's hard to pinpoint. I do know that i have a boat load of backs and my fb wasn't put in the game at all.

Hadn't considered that using him to cover kicks was going to run him down that much, could be as simple as that.
This is what preseason is for I guess :)

ya special teams will tire a player down to where my returner always sits out first down it seems. I would reccommend picking up a third hb if you can though :)
