I really can't gripe about the LSU camp.

1. RB Noah Fant - (+9/-2) Essentially didn't change, as the -2 drop was simply due to the position change. Instant starter, although passing on AJ Brown was a dire mistake.
2. MLB D'Andre Walker - (+13/+5) Hallelujah. Instant starter.
3. DB Chauncey Gardner-Johnson - (+2/-8) Make that 0-7 on DB Hail Mary's. Depth and will not be resigned.
4. RG Javon Patterson - (+2/+1) Not as big of a boost as I would have liked, but will be starting next year.
5. OL Nick Linder - (-1/-24) Cut. Not a huge hurt as he was unlikely to be useful without a massive boom
6. DT Bobby Okereke - (+22/+5) Wow. Will be starting next year.
7. C Joseph Wyss - (+1/-1) Cut. Needed a boom to be useful depth.

All in all, I cannot complain about two immediate high impact starters and two starters next season. I'll take the two cuts and one four-year placeholder.

After a good camp the Sooners get some much needed help on defense and some icing on the cake with QB Spencer Rattler.
Coach Lincoln Riley was thrilled with the QB signing: " We weren't exactly looking to sign a QB this season...but when opportunity knocks you gotta be willing to open the door." "We're excited to have this kid and we're pretty much set at the position for a while now."

In other camp news, 1st round signee LB Kenneth Murray beasted in camp and will wreak havoc in the Big 12 as a freshman starter.

CB's Tylon Lynch and Starrland Baldwin also had great camps and will bring some much needed talent to the Sooner defensive backfield.

And only 1 cut from camp...DE Isaiah Thomas was cut after failing to complete the Sooner mile.

Everyone else should make the team in some capacity

Notre Dame is pretty excited about the training camp results. 6 players boomed while only 2 busted. The undrafted punter boomed which counts as those 8 players. The good news: Irish have found their CB to work alongside with Houston Griffith to make one of the better CB duos in the league. WR Parris Campbell boomed and can start right away replacing a former legend at the WR spot. The Irish found their long term answer at backup QB as Stidham impressed big time in camp. Even the 6th and 7th rounders (both offensive linemen) boomed and can start games right away. The bad news: QB Jason Stevenson hardly progressed at all in his accuracy. He still remains in the mid-50s in accuracy. It could take awhile for that to max out. And 50s for accuracy will not work in the 4.5 code. So the Irish may be forced to start QB Wilson Johnson this upcoming season.

After a draft where Metcalf and Hollywood were the receivers most people talked about, AJ Brown ends up being the best one lol

Ya in my opinion Baker is the best player in draft and AJ Brown second. Crazy how it worked out

Dave in shambles knowing David Orange's days as the DB of the league are soon over ;)

I'm pretty happy with Hollywood though mostly cuz his current boomed a ton so he's almost maxed out already and I needed a wingman for Dupuis badly this season. Montes also boomed in his future accuracy.

Honestly while we still have a couple holes, the issue I think isn't with the roster it's mostly with me lol. Gonna have to experiment in preseason.... LET'S GET IT

orange didn't lose any speed if you can believe it. Plus surtain is ready to step in for him soon. Bama had a rough draft except nabbing Fitzmagic in the late rounds was a huge sign. I'm still amazed Kansas cut the Stache. Syracuse gets their future qb off the scrap heap lol

And BYU is imo the conference favorite, minus Oliver, their draft was a huge win imo. Must be nice to be able to swing when u pick 30. I remember the good old days :(

Ya, Slick must be kicking himself after letting that guy go. Ouch... That would be a tough one to deal with.
