LSU had another productive, albeit frustrating, camp. The QB search continues!

1. WR Delarosa - 9/-3 (79) Still going to start, no complaints here.
2. OL Edwards - 5/0 (87) Going to serve as 6th OL this year, will be a starter for 10 years after.
3. QB Bernal - 5/-9 (63) Getting cut
4. SS Paul - 16/7 (70) Serviceable starter, but best case scenario will be pushing him to reserve.
5. TE Johnson - 10/7 (72) Will fit in perfectly as a blocking TE behind Simmons. Will play.
6. DL Miller - 13/15 (75) There's something about DL in the 6th. Another jackpot. Will play.
7. DL Guest - 7/-5 (46) Getting cut

UDFA
C Barela - 1/-2 (63) Getting cut
LB Ritter - 11/5 (55) Serviceable depth.

OSU blahh!!

1. CB Shawn Springs - 10/-4 - Still my best CB
2. WR David Boston - 9/2 - Solid WR, backup RB
3. DE Sam Hubbard - 7/-4 - Biggest disappointment, DL depth
4. LB Randy Grandishar - 9/4 - When his weight drops he should be good.
5. RT Dennis White - 6/8 - Biggest surprise, converted FB, starter
6. OL Gerald Morgan - 10/6 - Stud Run Blocker/
7. OL Michael Travis - 2/-2 - garbage - cut

UDFA
OL Virgil Urban - 7/2 - Had to take a flyer on a guy named Urban!
DT Billy Parr - experiment failed! cut

I'll be honest I was so jealous of Newton when I saw the post camp results!

Pick 1.2 QB Randall Meyer +14/-2 62/82
Randall had a good camp and could very well end up as the starter going into the regular season. Currently #2 on the depth chart
Pick 2.3 WR Kevin Watkins +0/-19 41/59
Kevin was picked to add speed to the receiving corps however his lack of understanding and poor discipline multiplied in camp. Originally penciled in as the #3 WR he has been regulated to the #2 RB spot and the primary punt returner. More then likely he will be cut at the end of the season.
Pick 3.2 RT Keith Nguyen +11/+2 46/77
Kevin did well in camp and has been penciled in as the starting LT. Everyone knows that FSU has suffered from under-strength offensive linemen and Kevin should help immediately.
Pick 4.3 WR Jerome Flowers +8/-1 43/70
Jerome was recruited in case Watkins did not pan out and it was a good thing he was. Originally penciled in as the #4 starter he immediately became the #3 after Watkins busted in camp.
Pick 5.2 LDE Gregory Rowland +10/+7 43/77
Gregory was quite the surprise in camp. This young man walked onto the practice field like he was already a veteran. An excellent run stopper and tackler along with good strength should keep him on the field for years to come.
Pick 6.3 LG Raul Devito +11/-5 41/69
At his high school in Kentucky Raul was the primary RB but with his school running a wide open passing attack he hardly ever touched the ball. FSU coaches saw he had potential as a offensive lineman and loved his strength so they moved him to the LG spot. While still massively under-weight he has the potential to be a long term starter. Currently penciled in as the #2 LG.
Pick 7.2 SLB Elvis Barney +3/+1 48/61
Currently the #2 SLB Elvis will be released at the end of the season and the saying will be true that "Elvis has left the building"

Overall not a bad camp for FSU other then Watkins busting and **** did he bust badly but I am happy with the results.
