Washington Husky Recruiting Class:
I did express my concern to Bryson when I changed a few names, every name I have changed to actual Husky players have busted in camp...This year was not an exception. I changed names on my first three picks..
1. LT Trey Adams 10/-2, not horrible, but not enough to count on him starting. Better depth than I had though.
2. RT Landon McGarry 13/-4, A bigger drop than the #1 pick, but it seemed to be only run block. He still has 98 pass block (fully developed) so he looks to become the starter next season.
3. WR Paul Skansi 13/-3, again, not horrible, but there was room to grow in a lot of areas. He still has decent skills and will fit pretty well into the WR3 position opening day.
4. RB
David Monson 9/7, a very good camp....the odd thing here is as a converted TE, he didn't seem to lose weight. Still sitting at 251 LB, can I count on more weight loss down the road? I would love his speed to get to 70 because with other attributes a pretty good. A solid backup RB.
5. WLB Richard Palmer 8/-2, this was a disappointment. He had a chance to earn a job, even from rd 5, and did nothing to give coaches confidence. His will be a tough call, only because we are thin at LB.
7. DT Adam McClung 10/3, a decent camp. At another position where we lack depth, he has a chance to stick. He will be decent against the run. A converted LB, we hope he adds more weight.
