Crack that code. CVS files help do that. Still a worthy game shouldnt be so easy to crack. CVS files or not.

There's no info in the CSV files that you can't get from the search results, if there's something you'd like to view that you can't as always please put a suggestion in - my goal is to make everything as transparent as possible and as easy as possible to get the info that you need. The only thing that's really a 'secret' is the boom/bust direction of players, but that actual value is not accessible anywhere.

Thats is why I love this game. I can get a tell on anything, quick, but the draft set up is awesome.

The same stats are pretty much available on the league page.

Precisely my point. Except, I can put all those stats, or to be more clear, player ratings by skill category, into excel and reduce the time required to filter players by the skill ratings that are important to me. They are the same exact numbers you see when you open a player card and look at the ratings tab. I am not cheating when I do this, and i have no distinct advantage over any other owner when doing this, other than the time I feel I save by doing it. I play quite a bit of online simulation football so finding efficient methods to try to do the best I can is important to me. But again, this is only my take. Good discussion.

Sorry I didn't say that in my post, I know you're not cheating and your work is entertaining and welcome

so at this point i'm basically giving up on this game

i'm gonna list the reasons as much for your own benefit as to vent.

the positional talent distributions are laughable. positions like punter and running back that are flooded irl are scarce here.

control over the team is illusory. i've done everything i can to tell it to feed my stud running back and instead i watch it routinely hand off to lesser talents who aren't even on my rb depth chart

investing in defense is idiotic the way the game stands now. i drafted CB heavily but still get routinely passed on by mediocre or below quarterbacks. it's even worse for defensive line, they're ******* useless.
you can watch the defensive line push the OL back into the qb play after play and it doesn't matter. mediocre qbs can complete throws after being hit or with tacklers hanging on. this almost never happens irl

the initial draft moves way too swiftly and no one with a life can keep up with it appropriately. it's way to important to be such a quick and dirty affair

possible i've just had a run of bad luck, but it seems like the injury frequency is too high. i basically have 3 or 4 multi-week injuries each and every game. no real team could keep up with that level of attrition

i would be willing to just come back to the game after a while once you've fixed all this stuff, but the way you kinda threw out as an afterthought "oh this isn't even 1.0 yet we're still working on it" is real shoddy.
you shouldn't be advertising on podcasts and asking for payment from people when your product isn't even close to presentable yet. if you'd been more up front/realistic about how far off this was from a finished product i'd have stuck it out or returned at a later date, but now i'm just writing it off more or less

just one thing about injuries, a lot of them can get a needle and play no probs.

From your very 1st post until this point, you have been nothing but negative. It is people like you who take the fun out of this game, and it is a GAME, away by all your whining.

You have not made one constructive post about this game, nor offered any useful insight. Instead, you launch a salvo of personal attacks on the creator. That clearly shows you spend way too much time playing fantasy/sim games and have forgotten how to effectively communicate in real life.

Not all games are for everyone, but you don't need to resort to personal attacks in a public forum. You definitely should write this off, quit, and not return to MFN...you are certainly not needed and even less useful. There are plenty of long time players here who enjoy the game and try to work constructively to consistently improve it. In the end, this is meant to be a fun pastime, something you are clearly incapable of without whining about because it doesn't suit YOUR needs...or perhaps just a sore loser who couldn't put a winning team together, game the system the way you wanted, or figure out game planning effectively to be competitive. Either way, your comments are worthless despite how much you value your opinion.

Don't bother replying to this, no one really cares at this point.

no, that would be what you just launched against me.
i offered a list of criticisms, YOU launched personal attacks

all i wanted was a realistic team managment sim. this is not one.
i'm barely into my season and would be able to go on winning. it's not about winning it's about this being a broken game. there's no fun in winning when neither team can punt, neither defense is effective, and i'm basically just watching a glorified shake table football game

if you guys actually cared about the game more than YOUR own opinions/egos you'd be more concerned with seeing basic ******* fixes implemented than "taking some noob to task"
