2047 Miami Hurricanes

While much of the focus in 2047 is Edward Strayer's attempt to win his 2nd Heisman in 3 seasons, there are other players making their own case for awards!

WR Robert Turner
76 receptions (12th)
1,971 yards receiving (2nd)
19 TD receptions (2nd)

RB Andrew McLeod
757 yards rushing (16th)
84 receptions (7th)
1,795 yards receiving (3rd)
12 TD receptions (5th)
2,552 Total yards (1st)
14 Total TDs (5th)

RET Rick Meredith
2 punt return TD

The NCAA record for punt returns TDs in a season is 2 which has been accomplished 7 times. Meredith has done it twice including this season and back in 2044 with A&M. He not only has 2 games to set a new punt return TD single season record but his 4 career punt return TDs rank him 2nd Alltime in NCAA History behind only RET Santonio Holmes (6).

MLB Jared Hedrick (TRUE FRESHMAN
121 tackles (1st)
122 passes defended (2nd)
29 knockdowns (4th)
1 interception
45.1 catch allowed percentage

CB Richard Arena
47 tackles
107 passes defended (7th)
31 knockdowns (3rd)
4 interceptions (15th)
44.9 catch allowed percentage

LDE Eric Dufour
25 sacks (1st)
36 hurries (1st)
44 tackles

The Alltime NCAA record for sacks in a season is 36 which was set in 2024 by DT Samuel Castillo (UGA). Dufour's 25 sacks is the most in a season since 2025, 23 years ago. In fact, the last time someone eclipsed 20 sacks was 2038 when RDE Gail Anderson (ND) had 21 sacks. There has only been 80 players in the 31 year history of the NCAA to reach 20 sacks. Dufour currently ranks 25th Alltime in sacks for a season with 2 games remaining and has an outside chance to reach 30 sacks which has only been accomplished 7 times in NCAA History.

QB Edward Strayer

We can't talk about the 2047 Miami Hurricanes without mentioning Strayer who in just his 3rd season as starter has already moved to 80th Alltime in career passing yards (22,194) and 41st Alltime in career passing TDs (206).

The Alltime passing records are 62,176 yards & 518 passing TDs. If Strayer can stay healthy and maintain his historic pace he will need 6 more seasons to reach the Alltime passing yards record and just 5 more seasons to reach the Alltime passing TD record.

2048 season

While much attention goes to QB Edward Strayer who is on pace for his 3rd 8,000 yard passing season in the last 4 seasons, it's WR Andrew McLeod who is on a recording setting pace.

McLeod has 1,790 yards receiving which already ranks 75th most in a season through just 7 games. His 22 TD receptions already ranks 28th most in a season. If he maintains this incredible pace, he will reach 4,091 yards receiving & 50 TD receptions which would be Alltime NCAA records for a single season.

The current records are 3,994 yards receiving and 42 TD receptions. McLeod needs to reach 2,468 & 27 TD receptions to become top 10 Alltime in both categories. That's just 678 yards receiving & 5 TD receptions away and he could reach those numbers in 2 to 3 games.

McLeod currently ranks 82nd Alltime in career receiving yards & 45th Alltime in career TD receptions as he is moving up the board for being one of the best receivers Alltime in the NCAA!

2048 season

Week 11

QB Edward Strayer]

He is currently on pace for 8,158 yards passing which would be his 3rd 8,000 yard passing season in the last 4 seasons and rank 5th Alltime in a season.

He is also on pace for 72 TD passes which would be his 3rd 70+ TD pass season in the last 4 seasons and rank 7th Alltime.

He currently ranks 54th Alltime for his career with 28,739 passing yards and should move up to around 46th Alltime by the end of the year. Strayer is just in his 5th season and should have many seasons ahead of him. He needs 33,437 more passing yards to reach 1st Alltime so essentially he is just 46% of the way there in almost 4 seasons as a starter.

He also currently ranks 21st Alltime with 267 TD passes and should move up to around 16th Alltime by the end of the season. He needs 251 more TD passes to reach 1st Alltime but is only 74 TD passes shy of cracking the top 10 Alltime which barring injury should occur next season.

WR Andrew McLeod

He already has 2,668 yards receiving (8th Alltime) & 31 TD receptions (5th Alltime) and is on pace for 3,880 yards receiving which would rank 2nd Alltime in a season. He needs 1,326 yards receiving to reach a tie for 1st Alltime. That's 265.2 yards per game while he is currently averaging 242.5 per game.

He is on pace for 45 TD receptions which would rank 1st Alltime in a season and needs just 11 TD receptions to tie for 1st Alltime in a season.

He currently ranks 58th Alltime with 8,801 yards receiving for his career and should move up to around 40th Alltime by the end of the season. He needs 3,741 more receiving yards to move into the top 10 Alltime which barring injury could happen next season.

He also currently ranks 29th Alltime with 78 TD receptions and should move up to 18th Alltime by the end of the season. He needs 26 more TD receptions to move into the top 10 Alltime for his career.

2048 season

Week 15

QB Edward Strayer

He is currently on pace for 8,074 yards passing which would be his 3rd 8,000 yard passing season in the last 4 seasons and rank 5th Alltime in a season.

He is also on pace for 76 TD passes which would be his 3rd 70+ TD pass season in the last 4 seasons and rank 7th Alltime.

He currently ranks 49th Alltime for his career with 30,179 passing yards and should move up to around 45th Alltime by the end of the year. Strayer is just in his 5th season and should have many seasons ahead of him. He needs 31,997 more passing yards to reach 1st Alltime so essentially he is just 48.5% of the way there in almost 4 seasons as a starter.

He also currently ranks 18th Alltime with 284 TD passes and should move up to around 15th Alltime by the end of the season. He needs 234 more TD passes to reach 1st Alltime but is only 57 TD passes shy of cracking the top 10 Alltime which barring injury should occur next season.

WR Andrew McLeod

He already has 3,155 yards receiving (3rd Alltime) & 40 TD receptions (2nd Alltime) and is on pace for 3,605 yards receiving. He needs 464 yards receiving in his final 2 games to move into 2nd Alltime & 829 yards receiving to tie for 1st Alltime.

He is on pace for 45 TD receptions which would rank 1st Alltime in a season and needs just 2 TD receptions to tie for 1st Alltime in a season.

He currently ranks 50th Alltime with 9,288 yards receiving for his career and should move up to around 45th Alltime by the end of the season. He needs 3,164 more receiving yards to move into the top 10 Alltime which barring injury could happen next season.

He also currently ranks 20th Alltime with 87 TD receptions and should move up to around 17th Alltime by the end of the season. He needs 17 more TD receptions to move into the top 10 Alltime for his career.

With just 2 games left, look for Strayer to target McLeod alot in the final 2 games!

2049 season

Week 16

QB Edward Strayer

He set the single season record for passing yards (10,033) and passing TDs (97).

He is also now 20th Alltime in passing yards (41,412) and 6th Alltime in passing TDs (394) as he wraps up just his 5th season as starter.

He needs 8,450 passing yards next season to crack the top 10 and 94 TD passes to move into 2nd Alltime in passing TDs.

2051 season

Week 9

QB Edward Strayer

He is also now 6th Alltime in passing yards (56,801) and 1st Alltime in passing TDs (537) as he is just over halfway into his 7th season as starter in the NCAA.

He needs 5,376 passing yards to reach 1st Alltime in career passing yards.

1. Jonathon Demartini 62,176 (5376)
2. Jim Kelly 60,747 (3947)
3. JaMarcus Russell 60,185 (3384)
4. Randy Williams 59,913 (3112)
5. Paul Johnson 57,404 (603)

Strayer is currently averaging 540 passing yards per game so he should move up to around 3rd Alltime by the end of the season where he will easily become the #1 Alltime passing yards leader sometime next season.

POSTSEASON

While Strayer has led the U to 1 National Championship in 2049, his 8-5 postseason record has been somewhat disappointing. However, he still currently ranks 7th in postseason passing yards (5,403) & 7th in postseason passing TDs (37).

He needs 2,780 passing yards & 23 passing TDs to move into 1st Alltime in both postseason passing categories.

WR Andrew Mcleod

He has moved into 1st Alltime in receiving yards (15,887) & TD receptions (167) and continues to extent his lead in every game. His 680 career receptions only ranks 40th Alltime and he needs 189 more receptions to crack the top 10 Alltime. McLeod is miles away (557) from #1 Alltime in receptions if he dreams of finishing #1 Alltime in the triple crowm of receiving.

His 23.4 average per reception ranks 1st Alltime among receivers with at least 500 receptions, 2nd Alltime among receivers with at least 400 receptions and 4th Alltime among receivers with at least 100 receptions.
