WR Kundarrius Taylor His speed, excellent hands, and rt running will get him a spot on this roster.



SS David Ugwoegbu Disappointing camp...his contract may keep him on the roster for at least a couple of seasons.



RT EJ Ndoma-Ogar Great camp! Big physical mauler. Possible starter from day 1.



WR Theo Wease Disappointing camp..not looking good.



FB Jeremiah Hall Walk on FB given a partial scholarship after having a very good tryout during camp.




2 early signees failed physicals and were released from the team.

Camp Results from Eugene:

1.3 Cameron Thomason - FS 45/77 (+9/-2)
Fills a serious need, but might not be good enough to serve as a long term solution.

2.2 Vincent Vega - MLB 55/81 (+14/+4)
Day one starter. Will slide in next to Clark to hold down the middle. Excellent zone coverage pass rush skills for a true freshman, but will need to grow into his tackling potential.

3.3 Butch Coolidge - RB 43/69 (+8/+1)
The coaches love this kid. Depth at RBs put him 3rd for now, but could easily slide over to WR if needed. Could take over for the seniors next season.

4.2 Anthony Loyd - DT 38/63 (+9/+0)
Loyd will see some time on the field during the pre season. He may end up taking a redshirt year to let him develop.

5.3 Aaron Mitchell - RT 37/74 (+3/+3)
What a gem this guy turned out to be. His potential is looking great. Backup for now at a thin tackle position.

6.2 Ronald Daniels - LDE 26/35 (+1/-24)
The coaching staff thought a position switch from corner to defensive end would give Daniels something positive to focus on. It didn’t work. He was arrested twice over the spring training period and will be dismissed soon.

7.3 Jeffery Stephan - TE 32/51 (+3/-3)
His dad knows a guy. Will probably end up on the team and no one knows why.

Round 1 -#6 George Brown QB R 2/2........35/73...Will take over for Obrien next year.
Round 2 -#54 David Smith.. WLB R 9/5........42/78...Yes! Starting WLB.
Round 3 -#57 Gilberto Joiner WLB R 8/1........38/66...Will see some time as reserve LB.
Round 4 -#72 Jonathan Barker RG R 8/4.......48/76...Needed this boom. Starting RG.
Round 5 -#65 Don Washington C R 2/-4......37/61...Possible cut.
Round 6 -#73 Ted Corley.... RT R 2/-4......38/56...Definite cut.
Round 7 -#80 John Michael TE R 10/10...34/64...Camp put him on the team.

Overall-
Clemson is happy with TC. There will be 3 starters from this group. We have found our next QB, eventhough he isn't Rocky Rothrock (**** you, Bryno) :)

Rothrock has to be the owner of the coolest QB name in this league (Mordecai is a close number 2 imo).

Maryland Plank begs to differ :P

I agree, hc! Rocky Rothrock sounds better than George Brown.

We get to see these first 2 QB's picked in this year's draft go head to head tonight. Rocky has the initial advantage, just on name alone!
