Army - 3.52
Iowa - 3.4
OU - 3.0
Washington - 2.58
USC - 2.55
UMiami - 2.54
Marshall - 2.39
Notre Dame - 2.02
Michigan - 2.16
tOSU - 2.17 - 3.043
Oklahoma State - 2.01
Kentucky - 2.78

Kentucky stinks in real life football. I went with defense to start and wanted a solid group. I hope I have that. My offense will be questionable at best. I mixed everyone in a pot and said "GO!" I'm hoping TC is kind. I have a team that rivals Notre Dame when it comes to youth. It seems Bryson and I had the same idea there. We'll see how this pans out. I was late and almost non-existent in Late FA. I would have rated higher had I not balked on that. Heh

ya i wanted to get a young team to maximize the length of years i can keep my team together but i think i went a little too young unfortunately. As far as the star ratings go, i take it as a sign of how different my weights are than the base weights. There are a good amount of 0 and 1 star guys on my team that i have as 2-3 stars on my weights. I think player values are all relative to the style and role you have for individual players. I think that's what makes the game so fun. This was the first allocation draft i took a qb in the first three rounds. I actually debated long and hard whether or not to take Oklahoma St.'s Randy Williams at #3. If he booms and his accuracy maxes out he will be the best player in our league hands down. As i prep for the show on tuesday i must say once again how impressed i am with how the owners in this league drafted. The teams are very evenly dispersed in talent and it should make for a very fun experience. For all of us teams that heavily loaded up on freshman i have some bad news. In my experience in allocations the rookies seem to have a much higher rate of busting than the established players. There could be some dramatic swings on some of the younger teams. I guess that's the risk vs reward factor. It looks like our show will be shot just after camp but most of the prep work will be precamp so hopefully it won't be totally outdated. Season is getting closer and with only two preseason games fight songs will be blaring and marching bands marching before you know it. :)

lol, i hear ya. If you think about it though, in a normal rookie draft the bust rate for high vol guys in the first few rounds is over 50% (closer to 60% in my opinion), so if you are a team like me with like 39 freshman i will have to be very lucky to see a great amount of them boom. While not all are high vol i still will see a big swing in my talent level. Usually i have a few guys i'm nervous about after a rookie draft, now i'm stressing about an entire roster, lol. I'm sure it will be a roller coaster

I'm pessimistic about my draft. I drafted a younger team, although not as young as some, but I missed the last day of the draft so I didn't get any lottery ticket type players like I'd have wanted. I'm not very deep, so I'm thinking injuries could destroy my team. Really anxious to see how my guys do in the training camp.

That's nice to hear, I really didn't like taking a QB with my first pick... For the record, the player I had #1 on my board was Julian Love, your new Cornerback...

Williams reminds me a lot of Hamilton your qb in 75. You saw him boom and turn into one of the league's best so maybe that contributed to you taking Williams :)

Heh! I LOVE Hamilton, and he boomed bigtime... but I took him in the 5th I think, which is where I prefer I pick them up... this league had I real shortage of QB's, like a REAL shortage, so I took a chance... I'm still not sold on it.

That being said, I have a lot of redshirts too. I won't be seeing any success until at least the 3rd season. I'll be happy with the playoffs this year...

after talking with a good amount of coaches i find that common opinion. By this rate everyone won't be competing til year 3 lol. To be honest i was super surprised to see the qb's go so quick. I thought i may be able to get Williams or one of the two guys picked before him in round 2. It caught me off guard and i had to reach for one in round 3. Heck i picked Zorn (75 MVP) in round 26. With the new code QB's are more important as they should be so the league reacted. My guy is the first completely pocket passer i've ever started. It will be interesting to see how i do without a mobile guy. I have horrible alternatives so i'll live and die with Wimbush :)

Not sold on my draft..computer **** the bed,so been mobile for the past week. It is not easy to Scout and allocation draft on a mobile device just saying LOL. I'll give California 2.3 considering everything. I have a lot of older players though sophomores and juniors with only two seasons of eligibility
