I’d need more than one draft to come to any conclusions, but it is fishy.

It does seem like a very MFN ‘hotfix’. But then again, it would be putting a lot of faith in CPU related coding and to that I say LOL.

Alvin Mosher (WLB, 1-4) - 45/84 (15/1)
William Swanson (SLB, 2-5) - See Below
Drew Mason (RG, 3-4) - 50/82 (9/2)
Harry Nuttall (SLB, 4-5) - Contract Voided prior to TC
Michael Mitchell (WR, 5-4) - 40/66 (10/-1)
Phillip Buchholtz (MLB, 6-5) - Contract Voided prior to TC
Howard Murphy (RG, 7-4) - Contract Voided prior to TC

William Swanson... So much promise, but so much Volatility.

... But I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this in my 8-1/2 years here:

Swish, that's so ridiculous!!

I had a terrible draft as well. 6 pics combined for -28!! 1 pic +5

I can't stand drafting anymore

****, Swish!

I can't bring myself to 'acknowledge' your post by clicking the little thumbs-up thing. There's nothing to like about what happened to that guy.

That is brutal!!

UCLA picks up 7 players that will keep roster spots. Not expecting a return trip to the title game, but it's not exactly a stretch to make that the goal.

First 3 picks (the money rounds, lol) went a combined -22

The other 4 picks went +0 total.

This is very similar to 2 other recent drafts in other leagues. From what I've experienced in the past few months, something changed with Training Camps and it is not a game enhancement in any way.

This is the only league I’m in these days, but man the last few years of drafts/camps have been brutal. The vast majority of players entering the league aren’t valuable or even useful, and the last three rounds, where I used to feast, are barely worth paying attention to. I have zero idea what is going on.

JDB wants parity and he’s got it. Don’t understand how parity helps the game. The owners who devote lots of time into their teams should prosper vs the owners or CPU owners who don’t set aside the time to care for their teams.

Unfortunately, a league without trading is 100% dependent on the draft. Thats like having 7 at bats and having to hit a homerun every time...highly unlikely.
It's a little better in leagues that aren't full where you can catch a good player on the waiver wire on occasion.

I don't know if it would even be possible to do but it would be cool if a league could open the trading block for ONLY the off season. (As in transfer portal)

Only players entered into the portal are eligible and could only be traded player for player.
Players do change teams in college football, they just call it something different.

Just spitballing here, like I said, it probably isn't even possible to do in this game.
But being totally dependent on the draft can be very frustrating sometimes when the draft classes pretty much ****.

I just wish we could tweak the draft talent level back to a few updates ago. I feel like leagues without trading were untouched by the team stacking nonsense that trade happy leagues dealt with.
