I did my part to keep pace...Delving for the first time into "dead cap" spending to get year 12 graduates, I added 2 players myself:

Top 12th yr OL Michael Gardner
Signed after a solid career at UCLA (including 2020 All America), it was an easy move up north the the UW. Like Rutgers' concern with Sherwood, I have to hope he doesn't collapse in camp. But he is an easy choice as my #1 RT

Also, with a mediocre pass rush, we added (Also from the Pac 12...Oregon) DE Glen Belle
He will add depth and a quality rotation piece along the front line.

It's a tough choice between Oct 17 vs Rutgers, Nov 28 vs Michigan, and Dec 19 vs Ohio State.

All three are pretty solid teams or have been solid at least once these first four seasons. Division rivals.

I'll go with Rutgers because HC is more active than the others and I like the rivalry we have going. This will only fuel it more. We're hosting each other for homecoming. Can either team pull off the homecoming sweep?

I'm changing OU's HC game to Nov. 28th vs. Kansas. Much more meaningful game.

Probably gonna just go with the Week 8 tilt against Cal.

Will likely mean more to him than me, but... Heh.
