Ducks win homecoming! Navy fell behind early and couldn’t seem to get around a surprisingly stingy Oregon defense. Motivated by his drop from the Heisman watch list, Gunn was back on track going 20/35 for 298, no INT, and a pair of TDs.

Between Jefferson Gunn, Frank White, Paul Johnson and Douglas Hemphill we a changing of the guard in NCAA with youth. I thought Mescow would be in this class but he's still got to work on his consistency. Makes a team hopeful to know that there are some premium passers being pumped out in the draft each year :)
