Cutting of graduating players Vote

When should teams be required to cut graduates?

Before season's end to allow all transfers three weeks to decide their team?

Once new season starts before the first Free Agency spin occurs giving transfers two weeks of free agency but allowing teams cap relief on the longer contracts?

Let the players be cut at beginning of season but extend the free agency weeks from 3 to 4. :)

that's actually a good idea, if the vote goes for #2 option i'll have a revote on free agency weeks

i've found if the free agency weeks is kept at 4 weeks the players will take more time before accepting offers. The bidding is limited to one week usually. We'll see how this vote goes first though

I voted for cutting the players before the end of the season, although I'd only apply that rule for transfer players. If it's a player you've had on your team for several seasons and signed a longer contract than a year for, you should get the right to let him go after the rollover.

I liked Garrok's idea in the other thread: Make the first FA day the day you cut players and no one signs anyone that day. Then all the bidding begins FA days 2-4 (making a 4th day). If anyone signs someone the first day of FA, they violate the rules and they must cut that player immediately.

i don't like that idea to be honest. I like the idea of extending free agency to four weeks though

I am NOT a fan of giving cap relief for long contracts....Cap money is the only thing preventing absolutely stupid contracts for the transfer players
